This week, we’ve together discovered the magic of color, an experience that has captivated the imagination of our 2 and 3-year-old students. For the youngest ones, the exploration began with direct contact with paint, inviting them to immerse themselves in a world of textures and hues through body painting. This enriched their sensory and emotional contact with art and stimulated their psychomotor development, creativity, and expressive abilities. Accompanied by stories, music, and sounds, we transformed the classroom into a collective canvas where hands, brushes, sponges, and fingers became the tools for expressing their view of the world, strengthening their sensorimotor intelligence and laterality, exploring, and freely expressing themselves.
For our 3-year-old students, the journey continued with a dynamic divided into two blocks that included an interactive introduction to the world of color and a post-recess artistic session, deepening the theme through personal and collective artistic creation. Combining play with learning, we appreciated the beauty and meaning behind each brushstroke.
It has been a wonderful opportunity to observe how our students, through painting and play, take their first steps on the path toward discovery and self-expression.
Esta semana hemos descubierto juntos la magia del color, una experiencia que ha cautivado la imaginación de nuestros alumnos de 2 y 3 años. Para los más pequeños, la exploración comenzó con el contacto directo con la pintura, invitándolos a sumergirse en un mundo de texturas y tonalidades a través del body painting, enriqueciendo su contacto sensorial y emocional con el arte y estimulando su desarrollo psicomotor, creatividad y capacidad de expresión. Acompañados de cuentos, música y sonidos, transformamos el aula en un lienzo colectivo donde las manos, pinceles, esponjas y dedos se convirtieron en las herramientas para expresar su visión del mundo, fortaleciendo su inteligencia sensoriomotriz y lateralida, explorando y expresándose libremente.
Para nuestros alumnos de 3 años, el viaje continuó con una dinámica dividida en dos bloques que incluyó una introducción interactiva al mundo del color y una sesión plástica post-recreo, profundizando en el tema a través de la creación artística personal y colectiva. Combinando el juego con el aprendizaje, apreciamos la belleza y el significado detrás de cada pincelada.
Ha sido una oportunidad maravillosa para observar cómo nuestros alumnos, a través de la pintura y el juego, dan sus primeros pasos en el camino hacia el descubrimiento y la expresión de sí mismos.
