Hello everyone and welcome to our blog!
In this first post, we want to tell you about the day-to-day life in our preschool classrooms. Every day is an adventure filled with learning and fun, and we’re eager to share it with all of you.
Our day begins with a first session before recess. When we enter our classrooms, we put our backpacks away and gather in a semicircle for our morning assembly: circle time. We review who has come, who hasn’t, the days of the week, the weather, the seasons of the year, the menu of the day, and the sessions that await us. We also take this moment to review content and discuss what we will be learning during the session.
After our first activity, we go out to the playground to play and share moments of free play with our peers from other 3-year-old classes. It’s a time of fun and socialization that we enjoy to the fullest.
Upon returning to our classrooms, it’s time to have a snack and prepare for two consecutive sessions before lunch. We wash our hands and return to our classrooms, where our food is served. After recharging our energy with a nap, we are ready for the last three sessions of the day.
Throughout the week, we participate in a variety of sessions that include activities such as fine motor skills, P.E., stations, estimulación al lenguaje, projects, maths, religión/atención educative, lecto escritura, and music.
Our classrooms are divided into four corners: reading and writing, maths, role play, and art. Although we have an assigned place in a team – red, blue, yellow, or green table – during the station’s sessions, we have the opportunity to rotate and explore materials in all corners. This allows us to experiment and learn in different ways.
In these first weeks, we have been immersed in our September project: «All About Me & My School.» We have worked together in different sessions to develop our fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and imagination.

En esta primera publicación, queremos contaros cómo es el día a día en nuestras aulas de 3 años. Cada día es una aventura llena de aprendizaje y diversión, y estamos ansiosos por compartirlo con todos vosotros.
Nuestro día comienza, con una primera sesión antes del recreo. Cuando subimos a las clases, colocamos nuestras mochilas y nos sentamos en un semicírculo para nuestra asamblea matutina, donde repasamos quién ha venido, quién no, los días de la semana, el tiempo que hace, las estaciones del año, el menú del día y las sesiones que nos esperan. También aprovechamos este momento para repasar contenidos y hablar sobre lo que vamos a aprender durante la sesión.
Después de una primera actividad, salimos al patio para jugar y compartir momentos de juego libre con nuestros compañeros de otras clases de 3 años. Es un momento de diversión y socialización que disfrutamos al máximo.
Al volver a nuestras aulas, es hora de tomar el snack y prepararnos para dos sesiones seguidas antes de la hora de comer. Lavamos nuestras manos y volvemos a nuestras clases, donde nos sirven la comida. Después de recargar energías con una siesta, estamos listos para las tres últimas sesiones del día.
A lo largo de la semana, participamos en una variedad de sesiones que incluyen actividades como motricidad fina, P.E., stations, estimulación al lenguaje, project, maths, religión/atención educativa, lecto-escritura y música.
Nuestras aulas están divididas en cuatro rincones: lectura y escritura, matemáticas, juego simbólico y arte. Aunque tenemos un lugar asignado en un equipo: mesa roja, azul, amarilla o verde, durante las sesiones de stations tenemos la oportunidad de rotar y explorar materiales en todos los rincones. Esto nos permite experimentar y aprender de diferentes maneras.
En estas primeras semanas, hemos estado inmersos en nuestro proyecto de septiembre: «Todo sobre mí y mi colegio». Hemos trabajado juntos en las diferentes sesiones desarrollando nuestra motricidad fina, gruesa e imaginación.
