Our Infants students are thoroughly enjoying exploring the fascinating world of dinosaurs during their project sessions. Both in English and Spanish, they are learning about these prehistoric animals through a variety of meaningful activities that spark their curiosity. Over the past few weeks, they have listened to stories that transport them to ancient times, solved puzzles that help them identify different species, and taken part in symbolic play. They are also using thinking routines such as I see, I think, I wonder, which allow them to observe carefully, form ideas, and ask their own questions. In addition, they have been eager to share objects brought from home, crafts, toys, stuffed animals, or informative posters, that enrich the project and strengthen their involvement. They have even experienced what it feels like to be little paleontologists, searching for “fossils” and creating their own volcano or dinosaur crafts. Thanks to all these activities, they are learning in a playful, creative, and motivating way.
Nuestros alumnos de Infantil están disfrutando explorando el fascinante mundo de los dinosaurios dentro de las sesiones de proyecto. Tanto en inglés como en español, se están acercando a estos animales prehistóricos a través de propuestas variadas y significativas que despiertan su curiosidad. A lo largo de estas semanas, han escuchado cuentos que los transportan a épocas remotas, han resuelto puzles que les ayudan a identificar diferentes especies y han participado en juegos simbólicos. Además, utilizan rutinas de pensamiento como Veo, pienso, me pregunto, que les permiten observar con atención, formular ideas y plantear preguntas propias. También han querido compartir en clase objetos traídos desde casa: manualidades, juguetes, peluches o murales con información que enriquecen el proyecto y fortalecen su participación. Incluso han vivido la experiencia de ser pequeños paleontólogos, buscando “fósiles” y creando sus propias manualidades de volcanes o dinosaurios. Gracias a todas estas actividades, están aprendiendo de una manera lúdica, creativa y motivadora.
